Our privately owned clients service the Aerospace, Defence and other high performance industries. They are looking for an Assembly Operativeto join their growing team!

Assembly Operative Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assemble products to customer specification
• Carry out component test inspections and pre-pack inspections
• Allocate rack locations/ record parts
• Provide assistance to the stores area as and when required
• Book in materials, consumables and move them to the appropriate location
• Pick and pack for customer dispatches
• Handle raw materials, completing stock checking
• Dispose of waste materials
• Kitting Jobs from correct Locations for despatch, packing Customer parts and despatching on correct courier

The ideal Assembly Operative will:

• Have previous experience within an engineering environment
• Be IT Literate, able to use internal stock databases
• Full UK Driving License (occasional delivery to customers using company transport)
• Counterbalance forklift licence (advantageous)
• Knowledge/experience within the engineering sector (advantageous)

Monday – Thursday: 07.45 am - 16.15 pm

Friday: 07.45 am - 15.15 pm
