Rhino Recruitment is looking for an experienced Engineering/Maintenance Manager to join a company based in Brislington, Bristol.

The successful candidate will report to the Managing Director and will be responsible for:

  • Effectively delegating work to a team of Engineers to ensure minimal disruption to production;
  • Ensuring all Pre-Preventative Maintenance (PPM) is carried out in a timely manner;
  • Ensuring that buildings, plant and facilities are fit for purpose and to provide proactive support/solutions when required;
  • Managing maintenance purchasing requirements, including capital forecasts;
  • Develop, implement and manage key performance indicators (KPIs); • Overseeing new projects from design stage to full installation / hand over;
  • Working as part of the management team – to share ideas and improve operations. Recommending, supporting and implementing continuous improvement activities to improve quality of product and production output;
  • Liaising with other departments, customers, suppliers and other service providers.

The candidate must also possess:

  • Electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical experience
  • A full driving license.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending upon experience. Sales performance bonus and long service award are included within the role.

  • Full-time position - 39 hours per week Monday-Friday.
  • Holidays 21 days holiday plus bank holidays increasing after 1 years’ service.
