High Voltage Electrical Trainer (Contractor)

Our client is a privately-owned international training company based in Teesside.  They were founded over 30 years ago and specialise in providing the most comprehensive high and low voltage safety training in their purpose-built facility and sites both in the UK and internationally.

Due to company expansion and the growing demand for our courses we are looking to add to our existing team of electrical trainers and assessors.

The Role:

This position is to provide various electrical training and assessment services to engineers and technicians working in hazardous and industrial environments including:

  • High Voltage
  • Protection Relays
  • Electrical Safety

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for training and/or assessing delegates attending courses.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the information provided to the candidate is accurate.

 

Requirements:

Minimum qualifications and Experience

  • Relevant electrical background
  • Knowledge and experience of high voltage equipment & protection relays
  • Knowledge and experience of Electricity at Work Regulations 1989

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Electrical trainer/assessor experience
  • Proficient in new course development

Competencies and Behaviours required

  • Ability to work under own initiative
  • Strong command of the English language (written & spoken)
  • Ability to communicate well with others

This position would be ideally suited to a candidate looking to use their skills and experience in helping develop the next generation of High Voltage Electrical Engineers.
