Position:              Claims Broker – Sports & Entertainment

Are you ready for an exciting career move? We have an exceptional opportunity for an Insurance Claims Handler to join a dynamic Sports & Entertainment division. This opportunity sits within a leading global insurance broker.

This opportunity would suit someone with existing S&E Claims experience or an experienced commercial claims handler looking to specialise in their career.

The Opportunity

As an Insurance Claims Handler, you will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of claims, ensuring a seamless process from notification through to settlement. You will work closely with clients from the sports and entertainment sectors, navigating the unique challenges of their claims and providing expert guidance every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities:

• Claims Management: Handle a diverse caseload of claims, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all claims-related documentation.
• Client Relationship Management: Act as the main point of contact for clients, delivering a professional and empathetic service to ensure the best possible outcome for their claims.
• Negotiations: Engage and negotiate with insurers and markets to achieve optimal settlements for clients.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain meticulous records of claims activities and ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with underwriters, brokers, and other key stakeholders to deliver a comprehensive claims service.

What’s needed for me to be considered?

• Experience in insurance claims handling, ideally within the sports or entertainment sectors, though not essential. They will consider claims professionals with wider commercial experience
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage and build lasting relationships with clients and insurers.
• Proactive and organised, able to manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment.
• A team player with a passion for problem-solving and a client-focused mindset.
