Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands.
Salary / Benefits £24k - £38k + Training + Benefits
We are working closely with an industry leading provider of Water Hygiene / Legionella management services. They are now recruiting in the West Midlands for a diligent, qualified, and hard-working Legionella Risk Assessor. The successful candidate will hold the City and Guilds / WMSoc in Legionella Risk Assessment and will have experience working on Healthcare, Retail, Leisure and Educational sites carrying out legionella risk assessments on both hot and cold-water systems. Our client offers a company vehicle, competitive basic salary, opportunities for training and company pension scheme.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: West Bromwich, Tamworth, Lichfield, Coleville, Burton upon Trent, Stoke-on-Trent, Stafford, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Telford, Shrewsbury, Stourbridge, Kidderminster, Ludlow, Worcester, Solihull, Royal Leamington Spa, Coventry.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Extensive experience working as a Legionella Risk Assessor for a reputable Water Hygiene / Legionella management outfit.
" Holding the City and Guilds / WMSoc in Legionella Risk Assessment is essential to the role.
" Able to communicate with clients and colleagues professionally.
" Good IT skills, able to produce reports & schematic drawings.
" Knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Able to work to client and company timescales.
The Role:
" Visiting Healthcare, Retail, Leisure and Educational sites to carry out Legionella Risk Assessments on both hot and cold-water systems.
" Providing clients with detailed legionella reports upon completion of risk assessments.
" Creating site specific legionella management plans, ensuring clients take appropriate measures to prevent outbreaks.
" Ensuring to carry out work in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Using industry related software to create schematics.
