Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on forklifts and other materials handling equipment at customer sites.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to ensure optimal performance of equipment.
- Provide preventative maintenance services to minimise downtime for customers.
- Maintain accurate service records and complete all required paperwork.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, delivering exceptional service and support.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all service operations.
- Work independently and manage your own schedule efficiently.
- Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or in a similar role (experience with forklifts or plant equipment is advantageous).
- Hold a qualification in Mechanical engineering or related field.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Valid UK driving license.
