Now seeking a Maths Lecturer to join on a temporary part-time basis in Warwickshire.


The role
Maths Lecturer to join the team based in Warwickshire to teach a group of GCSE Maths re-sit students across various campuses.

Hours available: Monday (09:30 - 12:15 / 13:00 - 16:15), Tuesday (13:00 - 16:15), Thursday (09:00 - 12:15 / 13:00 - 16:15), Friday (09:30 - 12:15
Contract Duration: ASAP - ongoing
Pay rate: £25-£35 p/hr



You will take responsibility for:

  • Supporting a group of students with their Maths re-sit exams.
  • Developing and producing relevant teaching materials and paperwork associated with the planning and assessing of the course.
  • Collaborating with teaching staff to enhance student engagement and adapt the curriculum.
  • Promoting a positive learning environment.
  • Tracking student progress and providing feedback.


What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:

  • GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in Maths and English (Grade A-C or grade 2).
  • Previous experience of teaching relevant subject, ideally in a further education setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, good time management and organisation.
  • An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months is required for this role.



Other DESIRABLE skills include:

  • Previous experience working as a Maths lecturer or similar role in a college/higher education setting
  • Teacher training qualifications would be desirable for this position
  • Previous experience of working with vulnerable young people or students with special educational needs
