Working basis: This is an office based role initially with scope to become hybrid in the future - so you will need to be within a commutable distance from Chelmsford.

This is a unique opportunity to join a company in a serious phase of growth and one that will allow you to make the role your own. This is an exciting role where you can make it your own as it'll be the first move into the Digital Marketing area for the company.

This will initially be a fully office based role with scope in the future for it to become hybrid once you are up and running and able to work independently.

Due to continued growth, our client is currently looking to employ an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist with experience in a wide-range of tasks.

Joining a collaborative and enthusiastic business, you will strategise, organise, and execute brand awareness campaigns aimed at driving traffic and boosting engagement across online platforms. Leveraging your creative prowess and industry experience, you'll be instrumental in fuelling growth and aiding the Group in achieving its commercial goals.

Working closely with the MD, the ideal candidate will embody a strong work ethic, capable of effectively managing their workload while fostering collaboration within the compact marketing team and across the Group.

Key responsibilities:

  • Marketing strategy from planning through to executing it
  • B2B Sales and Lead generation
  • Email Marketing
  • Experience with CRM
  • Social Media Management
  • Content Creation / Copywriting
  • Website management

Email Marketing:

  • Develop, implement, and manage email marketing campaigns.
  • Analyse email performance metrics and suggest improvements.
  • Maintain and grow email lists while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM).

Social Media Management:

  • Create, curate, and manage published content across social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).
  • Engage with followers, respond to queries, and foster community interaction.
  • Analyse social media metrics to optimise campaigns and enhance audience engagement.

Content Creation:

  • Develop high-quality, engaging, and SEO-friendly content for blogs, websites, and social media.
  • Collaborate with designers and content creators to produce multimedia content.
  • Manage and update the content calendar to ensure consistent delivery of content.

Website Management:

  • Oversee the website's day-to-day operations, including content updates and site maintenance.
  • Implement SEO best practices to improve site ranking and visibility.
  • Monitor website performance, track analytics, and recommend enhancements to improve user experience.

What are we looking for:

  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Mailchimp, Hootsuite, WordPress).
  • Solid understanding of SEO, SEM, and web analytics.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • 2-4 years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on email marketing, social media, content creation, and website management.
  • Proven track record of successful digital marketing campaigns.
  • Experience in analysing data and using insights to drive marketing strategies.
