Clinical Deputy Home Manager | Elderly Nursing Home                                   

Location: Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Tyne and Wear

Salary: £51,000 per annum

Compass Associates are working with a valued client who have a fantastic opportunity for a Clinical Lead or Deputy Manager  to work in their well performing elderly nursing home based in the Newcastle-under-Tyne area. The home provides care for nursing, residential and dementia residents.

As the Clinical Deputy Manager you will be responsible in supporting the General Manager in maintaining excellent clinical standards and overseeing the nursing and care teams in delivering quality care to residents.

The Candidate                                  

This role is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Lead or Deputy Manager seeking a new challenge within  a quality focused elderly care provider. The provider is also open to speaking with Senior Nurse’s with extensive elderly care experience who can demonstrate and evidence leadership skills.

The successful candidate will need to have previous experience of working in a nursing home environment,  working as part of a multi disciplinary team, nurse management experience as well as having strong clinical skills.                         

Requirements                                    

Qualified Nurse (RGN/RMN)                                  

Previous Nursing Home experience                                  

Elderly/Dementia Nursing experience                                  

Strong Clinical Skills                                     

Genuine passion for elderly care              

Leadership experience within a senior nurse capacity                                       

Interview Process                            

There is a 2 stage interview process -                      

Stage 1 - A telephone interview with an member of the recruitment team         

Stage 2 - Interview with Home Manager & Regional Manager           

Location                                   

This role is based just outside of the Newcastle-upon-Tyne area and is easily commutable from Blaydon, Whickham, Gateshead, Rowlands Gill, Prudhoe, Whitley Bay, East Boldon, Washington, Heddon-on-the-Wall, Ponteland, Blythe and Sunderland.
