Hours: 36 hours full time Monday to Friday

We are working on behalf of our esteemed client who is seeking to recruit a skilled and experienced Senior Administrator to them on an immediate start temporary basis. You will be responsible for providing high level administration support to the Wellbeing Officers. You will accurately update trackers/Excel spreadsheets with data, respond to email queries, coordinate meetings, prepare meeting packs and some adhoc minute taking. As well as any other administrative tasks as required to support a team of 10.

This is a full time position, with core hours to be covered 10 – 4pm with flexibility to work 8 – 4 / 9 – 5 / 9.30 – 5.30 etc as long as core hours are covered – average working week is 36 hours.

The company operate a hybrid working policy whereby you will be office based 3 days per week and home working 2 days per week.

This is a temporary contract until 31st January 2025 – you must be comfortable to commit to this temporary contract as a Senior Administrator for the duration.

Role and responsibilities:

  • As a Senior Administrator you will act as a primary contact into the business by proactive management of shared inboxes dealing with queries and escalating issues appropriately to the wider team
  • Accurately update internal databases and Excel trackers with data in a compliant manner
  • Coordinate meetings and provide secretarial support to relevant committees such as preparing letters, agendas, presentations etc
  • Provide adhoc support during meetings with minute taking
  • Working in a collaborative team manner to plan, organise and deliver all administration activities successfully
  • General administration duties as required across all areas of the business

Skills and experience required:

  • Proven and significant work history as a Senior Administrator or Secretary is essential
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and collaborative team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills is essential
  • Confident to engage, ask questions and delegate
  • Strong IT skills in particular confident user of MS Excel for reporting and data manipulation essential
  • Well organised, confident and engaging manner
  • Ability to handle confidential data in line with GDPR
  • Natural ability to problem solve and offer solutions
  • Accuracy and attention to detail skills essential
