Stock Control Supervisor

Alexander Steele is recruiting a stock control supervisor for a unique FMCG business based in Wiltshire. The role holder will be responsible ensuring the highest standards of quality, stock management, and control processes within the business. You will supervise a team of 10 people and will oversee all aspects of inbound inventory coming into the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the coordination and planning of all inbound deliveries for stock that is uplifted from other UK warehouses, imported goods arranged by our customers for EU & none EU deliveries with the agreed hauliers.
  • Prioritising private and high value deliveries to ensure the risk is managed effectively and in line with the business values and standards.
  • Develop and implement efficient stock management processes to ensure accurate tracking all stored goods.
  • Conduct regular inspections of stored goods to ensure compliance with temperature, humidity, and light control measures.

Background Experience:

  • Strong supply chain and logistics experience, particularly with dealing with EU imported goods
  • Strong planning and analytical skills with experience of reporting at management level
  • Excellent communicator, customer focussed with commercial awareness.
  • Good excel experience, ability to manipulate sets of data received in different formats
