Machine Operative

Night Shift Sunday - Thursday - £30,000 - £39,000 per annum

Our client is a manufacturing company based in Henstridge and are looking for a reliable and skilled Machine Operative to join the team. If you have experience in processing steel to customer's requirements and tolerances, reading drawings, and can operate a forklift, then this may be the perfect opportunity for you.

Your main role will be to process steel according to customer orders. This will involve using various machines and tools to cut, shape, and weld steel as per specifications. Having previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment will be highly beneficial in this role.

In addition to operating machines, you will also be responsible for collating orders. This includes banding, palletising, bagging, and preparing products for loading onto delivery trucks. This is an important part of the process as it ensures that products are efficiently and correctly packaged for transport.
