What you’ll be doing:
The successful candidate will have strong programming skills, embedded development experience and good device networking knowledge. You will have technical responsibility for developing and delivering software for professional audio products. Working in a cross-functional team, you will be involved in all parts of the software lifecycle; from specification and design through to maintenance.
The right individual should be keen to learn, industrious, possess an exemplary attitude, take ownership, drive progress and strive to create good quality software solutions.
This is your ideal role if you have:
- Software design and development experience - working closely with other developers in a cross-functional team. You will design and develop software to meet product requirements and ensure a high standard of quality and reliability. You will also work with product testers to identify and resolve defects.
- Minimum of 3 years embedded development using C++ (11 / 14), and an understanding of TCP/IP networking.
- Software specification experience - working with Product managers and other engineers to create specifications for new software products.
- Working knowledge of Software development for embedded platforms.
- A good understanding of hardware platforms and how software and firmware components work together.
