Mechanical Engineer

Our client is a building main contractor based in North West London and entrusted with some of Britain's most prestigious residential properties. Their proven expertise enables them to solve the demanding and technically difficult issues often raised by new and historic buildings alike. The breadth of their experience and skills base, mean they deliver the whole project - from initial concept through to completion and beyond as needed. A high proportion of their work is repeat business commissioned by satisfied clients who trust their unique blend of customer care, quality and total delivery. They are interested in talking to talented Mechanical Engineer.

They require an energetic, motivated and career-minded Mechanical Engineer who will be responsible for coordinating the design stage between the consultant, the client’s team and subbies, ensuring consistently high standards of workmanship and efficiency. Other responsibilities the Mechanical Engineer will undertake will include:

  • Coordinating site drawings.
  • Preparing site documentation:
  • Performing routine visits to site to monitor installations
  • The Mechanical Engineer will review with site team the manpower requirements and inform PM should a change be needed
  • Coordinate changes to the contract including communication with direct management and ensure
  • documentation updates
  • Attend site meetings
  • Coordinate and ensure submittal of project closeout documentation

The successful Mechanical Engineer will have previous experience working on Mechanical installations relating to the construction industry They will also have general industry knowledge, able to work to tight deadlines and with proficient knowledge of AutoCAD.
