Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Commutable from Bradford, Leeds & Halifax
Salary: £38,500 per annum (including shift allowance)
Shifts: Rotating (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm, with an early finish on Fridays)

The Role:
As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of the production process. Your responsibilities will include:
- Responding swiftly to unexpected issues in the work environment to minimise disruptions to the business
- Assisting the team in achieving key departmental KPIs such as MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) and MTTR (Mean Time To Repair)
- Scheduling machine downtime with production to perform necessary maintenance, repairs, or modifications
- Analysing equipment history, assessing breakdowns, and taking corrective action to reduce machine downtime
- Providing technical assistance, documenting processes, and creating manuals and drawings to facilitate quick machine recovery
What You’ll Bring:
- Recognised engineering apprenticeship and hands-on experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing setting
- Minimum ONC or City & Guilds Level 3 qualification (or equivalent)
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations and handle a variety of maintenance tasks
- PLC fault-finding experience (Allen Bradley/Mitsubishi is desirable)
- Proficiency with machine tools and experience working with AC, DC, and Servo Drives
- Solid understanding of maintenance policies, procedures, and best practices
