A new Senior FF&E Interior Designer job is available in South West London. This is the perfect position for a passionate designer looking to expand their experience in the luxury residential sector. The role with allow the successful candidate to oversee a team whilst managing projects from start to completion.

Our client is a highly regarded interior design and interior architecture practice, working on projects world-wide. They are well known for providing turn-key services within the luxury residential market and for their ever-expanding portfolio of classical and elegant interiors.

Role & Responsibilities

  • To take responsibility for all stages of projects, from initial client brief to completion

  • Preparing FF&E schemes, presenting concepts, specifications and costings to clients

  • Managing the design and manufacturing of bespoke designs and coordinating with suppliers and in-house procurement team

  • Mentoring junior members of the team through the design process

  • Working with the 3D visual team, ensuring creative concepts and deadlines are met

  • Monitoring and supervising FF&E team meetings, including team planning and delegation of project and duties

  • Working with the appropriate teams to implement and monitor project deadlines and budgets

  • Organising and assisting in the management of site installations

  • Overseeing Estimac is running smoothly and ensure that training programmes are set up for new starters

  • Distributing, monitoring and supervising the preparation of design documentation by all FF&E designers

  • To confidently present to potential new clients.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years' experience in the luxury residential sector

  • Experienced in delivering projects from concept to completion

  • Experience designing bespoke joinery and furniture

  • Strong knowledge of interior materials, furnishings, accessories and artwork

  • Proven experience leading and mentoring teams and junior designers

  • Strong track record of successfully liaising directly with HNWI

  • Knowledge of interior architecture with the ability to read and understand technical drawings

  • Ability to use Vectorworks for floorplans, elevations and furniture drawings

  • Proficiency with Adobes Suite and Estimac.
