- Negotiate Contracts: Use your negotiation skills to secure the best prices, discounts, and agreements that align with company goals and financial targets.
- Inventory Management: Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and ensure timely delivery of goods to meet production schedules.
- Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth transactions, resolve any issues, and identify future opportunities.
- Market Research: Stay up to date with market trends, emerging suppliers, and potential risks in the supply chain to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Cost Optimisation: Continually seek opportunities to reduce costs without compromising on quality or service.
- Analytical Mindset: You are data-driven and comfortable with using metrics to guide decisions and improve performance.
- Negotiation Skills: You have a proven track record of successfully negotiating with vendors to get the best deals.
