£42,023 – 43,704 plus full benefits package and overtime availability at £29.12 per hour

An international manufacturer of critical parts to aerospace customers is looking to secure the services of a Level 2 NDT Inspector with qualifications/experience of Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection.

It is expected that you will be used to working within a process driven manufacturing environment where quality is paramount, and standards are high.

Duties will involve, but not limited to,

  • Review routers, procedures, specifications and any other instructions for completeness and instructions to perform the operation.
  • Process parts in accordance with procedures and technical instructions.
  • Set up, calibrate, and perform process control checks on equipment by following instructions and record results.
  • To generate new/amend NDT data cards for approval by the Level III.
  • Interpret, evaluate, and report evaluation results as required.
  • Fill out required logs and statistical data sheets as required.
  • Maintain required job skills and knowledge of requirements (including procedures, specifications etc)
  • Maintain work area, equipment, and all documents/records to be audit ready at all times.
  • Provide on the job training to trainees and fellow level II inspectors when required.

Qualification requirements,

  • Currently or previously held NAS410/EN4179 Level II FPI
  • Currently or previously held PCN Level II FPI
