As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing tailored support to secondary-aged students with PMLD, helping them succeed in a supportive and adaptive educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored, one-on-one support to secondary-aged students with PMLD, ensuring a caring and inclusive environment that encourages learning.
• Assist with personal care and mobility needs, ensuring students remain comfortable and well-cared for throughout the school day.
• Work alongside teachers and other specialists to help deliver personalised learning plans for each student.
• Develop and maintain positive connections with students, promoting their independence, confidence, and personal development.

About You:

• Experience working with students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).
• A solid understanding of the unique needs and challenges these students face.
• Compassionate, patient, and committed to making a meaningful difference in students' educational experiences.
• Ability to work effectively with teaching staff and support professionals in a collaborative team environment.

Requirements:

• Available Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
• Right to work in the UK.
• An enhanced DBS on the update service (If you don't have one, we can assist. The cost is £46, and we will reimburse you once you've completed 20 working days with us).
