Shrewsbury School is seeking to appoint a well-qualified and experienced teacher of EAL. Ideally, candidates will have a TEFL qualification or equivalent and the ability to integrate curriculum content within EAL teaching. An ability to provide stimulating, well-planned lessons across the age and ability range within the school is essential.
The role is for a minimum of 15 hours per week. The demands for EAL provision are variable and a flexible, adaptable approach to the role would be required by the post-holder.
A full induction programme is provided for all new members of staff, including First Aid training, and there is a rich programme of CPD opportunities.
