Job Ad: Cover Supervisor (Secondary Schools) - Chesterfield Area

Are you passionate about education and ready to make a positive impact in the classroom? We are seeking Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Chesterfield, supporting Key Stage 3 and 4 students in the absence of their regular teachers.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and deliver pre-prepared lessons to students across KS3 and KS4
Manage classroom behavior, ensuring a safe and positive learning environment
Support students in completing work set by the absent teacher
Address and manage challenging behavior in line with school policies
Provide guidance and feedback where appropriate to ensure student engagement
Requirements:
Previous experience working with young people, preferably in a school or education setting
Ability to manage challenging behavior effectively and maintain classroom control
Flexible availability for early morning calls as cover may be required at short notice
Driving preferred due to the nature of travel between schools
A strong commitment to making a difference in students' education
