Join a leading food manufacturer in the Barnsley area, as Lead Site Engineering Manager. We're looking for a hands-on leader with a strong background in fast-paced food manufacturing, ready to manage a team of 9 engineers and drive continuous improvement.

- Lead and manage the site engineering team to achieve KPIs and business objectives
- Manage budgets for maintenance, energy, utilities, and projects
- Minimise downtime and drive root cause analysis for recurring issues
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, food quality, and operational standards
- Drive continuous improvement and environmental/energy efficiency projects
- Collaborate across departments to meet business goals
- Oversee engineering personnel, including workload, training, and development
- Proven experience as a Site Engineering Manager in a food manufacturing environment
- Level 3 qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering (or equivalent)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop teams
- Familiarity with CIP systems and compliance standards
- Competitive salary £55k – £60k – depending on experience
- Monday to Friday 7am – 4pm
