BE Recruitment are currently recruiting for an engineering company based in Thurmaston, LE4, who work with sheet-metal.

Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:00
• Friday: 06:00 - 14:30

Pay:

• £13 - £16 P/H (Dependant on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Perform welding tasks as part of a collaborative team.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to execute precise welding specifications.
• Work efficiently to meet tight deadlines and production schedules.
• Weld various metals, with a focus on materials up to 5mm thickness.
• Adhere to safety standards and protocols.

Requirements:

• Proficient in MIG Welding (TIG Also Useful)
• Proven experience as a production welder & spot welding.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Competence in welding metals up to 5mm thickness.
• Knowledge of safety standards and practices in welding.
