Job Advertisement: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Wiltshire Area

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dedicated team in a supportive and inclusive school located in the Wiltshire area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an HLTA with a passion for education to make a real difference in the lives of students, supporting their learning and development.

Position Details:

• Location: Wiltshire
• Contract Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday)
• Start Date: Depending on availability 
• Salary: £100 - £120 per day
• Closing Date for Applications: 30/10/2024

• Key Responsibilities:
• Support class teachers in the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning across the school
• Deliver lessons to small groups and whole classes, covering in the absence of the teacher when required
• Provide targeted support for students with additional learning needs, helping them to achieve their full potential
• Assist in planning and preparing learning resources, ensuring lessons are engaging and accessible
• Help foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, encouraging student participation and confidence
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to teachers and contributing to student reports

Qualifications & Experience:

• Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification or equivalent
• Experience working in a school setting, preferably at secondary level
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and flexible approach
• A passion for supporting students’ learning and well-being
