Summary: Inspection Manager

Our client in Coventry who specialise in Precision Engineering and cover a wide range of industries including Oil & Gas, Power Generation & Rail are looking for an Inspection Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. As an Inspection Manager you will efficiently and effectively manage the inspection areas and activities throughout company, ensuring all company targets are met and quality procedures are to customer's specification and satisfaction.

The role: Inspection Manager

• Manage the inspection and quality department and areas throughout the company
• To allocate jobs to the team and configure targets
• Ongoing support for technical and quality issues including resolution
• Non-conformance reports completed
• To maintain the calibration systems raising any issues to the Senior Quality Manager
• Ensure that the budget of whole supply chain works efficiently
• Ensure all company targets are met
• Ensure customers specification and satisfaction is met
• To manage budget control & supply chain
• Managing purchase orders
• Work flexibly where possible to support the business when needed
• Ensure H&S rules and regulations are adhered to at all times
• All components must be clearly identified at all times with the use of a Route Card
• Management of CMM programs and calibration of equipment

• Take a proactive role in operational HSE
