Principal Civil Engineer
 
Our client is seeking a Principal Civil Engineer to join their Civils team based in Nottingham. This is an exciting opportunity to work on impactful and innovative projects, particularly within the healthcare and education sectors, including notable developments such as Nottingham Trent University, Thames Park Academy, and Leeds Royal Infirmary.
 
As a Principal Civil Engineer, you will independently lead the delivery of a wide range of projects and ensure seamless communication and proper scheduling of resources. You will also be responsible for managing client relationships, project financials, and providing mentorship to engineers and technicians.
Providing guidance and mentorship to engineers and technicians, supporting their professional growth and development.
 
Requirements of the role:
- Proven experience in leading and managing civil engineering projects, with the ability to develop project delivery programmes and effectively allocate resources.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a positive approach to mentoring and team development.
- Commitment to working under a recognised professional institution training pathway.
- A conscientious, collaborative, and forward-thinking mindset, valuing the contributions of others and taking pride in the lasting impact of your work.
- Extensive experience in infrastructure design using relevant software (AutoCAD, Civil3d, Microdrainage)
