Landscaping / Fencing Operative

Salary £25,000 to £30,000 + Overtime & Paid Travel Time

Plymouth

Permanent, Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours pw, 7:00am to 4:30pm  

These are Full Time, Permanent, Employed positions. That means that you are paid for ALL working days plus Holiday Pay and Sick Pay. You are paid for your time travelling to site and there is overtime at a higher rate!

You will have an important role in one of the most successful Landscape companies, in the South West. A company who invest in staff training and, wherever possible promote internally.

You will be creating the soft landscaping and fencing schemes that enhance some of the most prestigious, new build housing and commercial developments. Your work will ensure that these projects make the finest impression on perspective buyers, tenants and new owners. This role will use your Soft Landscaping abilities and give you the opportunity to develop some new skills and qualifications.

Teams are based from the depot outside Plymouth and you will need to get there some of the time. You will travel daily, in the company van to sites around the South West and you are paid from the time that you start at the depot, not when you arrive on site!

The Person:

Ideally you will have at least a year of previous experience in a Soft Landscaping role together with a broad range of Landscaping and Fencing skills.

It would be an advantage to have some Hard Landscaping skills including the installation of slabs and brick and block work.

You will ensure that you have the correct uniform and PPE and that the vehicles and machinery that you use are in good order and safe to operate.

A Driving Licence would be useful as are:

• A current CSCS Card
• Digger/Dumper/Tractor tickets
• Machine tickets for Landscaping tools
• Trailer experience
