Lead IT Buyer – Hull – £35,000
 
An established and fast-paced business in North Lincolnshire is embarking on the development of their Procurement function, hence are seeking a Lead IT Buyer for a newly created role to drive this development. Reporting to the IT Service Delivery Manager, this exciting business operates with a very strong work ethic, and owing to a period of growth are now looking at adding heads in a number of different areas.

Lead IT Buyer responsibilities:
 
  • Close cross functional collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Implementation of Procurement strategy for the business
  • Overseeing delivery of projects within the IT function
  • Full Procurement process ownership
  • Both operational and strategic Procurement
  • Supplier identification with pricing negotiation and contract management
  • Senior level interaction with both internal and external stakeholders and influencing to secure best outcome for the business
 
 Required Skills & Experience:
  • CIPS, or working towards (desirable)
  • Stakeholder management and influencing
  • Procurement framework management
  • Supplier assessment and dashboards
  • Tendering and negotiation
