HSE Senior Advisor

Location: Reading - Burghfield

An excellent opportunity for an experienced HSE Senior Advisor / Lead HSE Advisor has arisen onsite with one of our clients, a world leader within many key industries. This role is placed within Nuclear, Oil & Gas or other heavily regulated industry or Construction industry experience.

What will you do in this position?

• The focus of this role is to lead the onsite HSE team, ensuring safety, compliance and continuous improvement for all activities.
• In this position you will be responsible for Providing Leadership, coaching and strategic guidance to the HSE team.
• Provide support and guidance to project managers on all matters relating to HSE.
• Ensure all work activities are carried out in a compliance with company and site safety procedures, maintaining the highest standards of health & safety at all times.
• Maintaining and promoting a Safety First culture, delivering TBT's and safety related training as required.
• Tracking and reporting of HSE in line with regional requirements
• Highlight concerns and areas for improvement, developing initiatives to drive continuous improvement on the project.
• Planning & conducting HSE Audits, ensuring timely closeout of any actions.
• Promoting safe card submission within the team, monitoring all cards submitted and following up actions with the relevant managers.
• Ensure excellent communication with project management, client wider region and client HSE representatives.

Experience & Qualifications

• NEBOSH & IOSH Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years in a Senior HSE role
• Construction industry experience
• Experience in Nuclear, Oil & Gas or other heavily regulated industry
• Must be able to obtain Security Clearance
