Our client is an international group with a significant presence in the UK and are known for being a key service and commercial provider to multiple customers. They manage the receiving, storing, and distributing of fresh produce according to marketing requirements, while also offering advanced re-packing services. With state-of-the-art facilities for prepared fresh produce, they provide solutions ranging from conventional storage to fruit snacking and ‘food to go’ options for convenience shoppers.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Account Manager to assist to oversee and deliver an effective UK/IRE & EU sales strategy that drives sales and maximises our clients company growth.

Key Elements of the Role:

• Develop their already existing customer base to the next level internationally forming long term retail relationships
• Ensure the delivery to customers are accurate and within specification and maximise customer spend
• Plan and deliver sales and profit enhancing trade promotions
• Regular customer communication and attend meetings as required.
• Ensure adherence to company procedures
• Liaise with the company departments on a regular basis as required
• Attend in person or via Teams or similar any internal or external meetings
• Resolve or highlight any payment issues with customers within the company procedure

What Are We Ideally Wishing to See from You:

• Experience within the FMCG chilled import industry, ideally in fresh produce
• Ideally experience working with leading retailers across the world or/and an ambition to do so
• Confident and professional negotiator
• Great and effective communication skills
• Ability to manage change and comply with internal and external business processes
• Versatile and proactive leadership style with the ability to engage and motivate teams..
• Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, growing environment across multiple countries.
