Job Title: Carpenter
Working Hours: 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday
Hourly Rate: £17.50 per hour
Location: Durham
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Carpenter to join our team. The role involves carrying out 1st fix, 2nd fix, constructing flat roofs, and hanging doors at various locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing 1st fix carpentry tasks (e.g., framing, joists, and structural work).
- Completing 2nd fix carpentry tasks (e.g., skirting, architraves, and finishing work).
- Constructing flat roofs to specification.
- Hanging doors to a high standard.
- Reporting completed jobs via a tablet (provided by the company).
Requirements:
- Proven experience in 1st and 2nd fix carpentry, as well as roof construction.
- Must have own tools.
- Full UK driving licence (Van provided for work purposes).
- Fuel expenses covered by the company.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
