The Role – SEN Teaching Assistant

As an SEN Teaching Assistant you will be joining a fantastic team in a Mainstream Secondary school. You will be based in the SEN Department however you will be working across the school with those pupils needing extra support. Whilst working as an SEN Teaching Assistant you will be working 1-1 with some pupils and in small groups with others. You will be working closely with the class teacher to ensure that the SEN pupils are being supported as much as possible. As an SEN Teaching Assistant you must be a compassionate person, mindful and patient.

The School – Mainstream Secondary School

This schools is a Mixed ‘Good’ rated Secondary school, part of an academy. The school has pupils aged between 11-18. There are 1200 pupils currently attending the school. The school follows the UK Curriculum leaving all subjects accessible for the pupils. There is parking on site and accessible transport links
