Quality Engineer

Science Solutions are looking to recruit a Quality Engineer for one of our clients based in the Merseyside area.
To be considered for the role of Quality Engineer you must possess previous experience in a quality role, ideally 4+ years experience.
You must also have experience with Polyworks as well as CMM/Faro arm.
Role requirements
- 4+ years experience in a quality role to ISO9001 standards.
- Previous experience in a customer facing role.
- Degree in an engineering discipline is highly desirable, but not essential.
- Experience in using Polyworks and CMM/Faro arm is essential for the role.
- Any experience in injection moulding is also highly desirable.
- Working experience or understanding of FMEA, PPAP, APQP, SPC, MSA and more.
Role responsibilities
- Liaising with customers on a daily basis to understand specifications of orders.
- Maintain and develop the ISO9001 QMS.
- Engage in NPI activities across cross functional divisions.
- Generate process related documentation including work instructions, control plans, quality alerts and more.
- Supervise and lead a team of 3 shift personnel.
