Red Rock Partnership Limited are delighted to be working with our prestigious client who are looking for a Designer to join their busy team. The designer will be responsible for producing fire wall, cladding and cold store estimating and construction plan drawings and details. Ensuring the project specification is detailed. Produce material schedules from CAD/REVIT/3D plans, assist with project administration.

Hours : Working Monday to Friday – average 40 hrs per week

Location: Tewkesbury

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Produce material lists and order ancillary materials for specific jobs within agreed timescales
• Produce CAD/REVIT/3D plans and details for all construction projects
• Produce CAD/REVIT/3D plans for estimating and client presentation
• Maintain a CAD/REVIT/3D library
• Ensure CAD/REVIT/3D revisions are up to date and issued to all relevant parties
• Modify and update CAD/REVIT/3D drawings as required
• Liaise with construction site manager and client project manager to establish scope of works
• Problem solve any unforeseen issues with the design
• Advise the project team of any restricted build issues identified from CAD/REVIT/3D drawing production and project variations
• Visit sites and survey
• Policy & Procedures and in line with site specific RAMS
• Adhere at all times to all Company Health and Safety Policy and Procedures
• Update skills and knowledge necessary to effectively carry out role as required by the company

About you:

• Competent IT skills in Auto CAD/REVIT/3D, Word, Excel and Outlook
• Attention to detail
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good understanding of plan drawing
• Good interpersonal skills
• Must be able to multi task and be pro-active
• Good planning and organisational skills
• Aware of Health & Safety legislation
• Able to work under pressure
• Self driven
• Ability to work as part of a team and individually
• Flexible to travel to locations in the UK with the occasional overnight stay
• Practical application

Qualifications:

• Valid UK Clean Driving Licence - desirable
• GCSE Maths & English
• Engineering background - desirable
• Construction skills certification scheme card may be required for visiting sites – training can be provided
