Key Responsibilities (All Staff)

• Maintain and promote the mission, vision, values, and ethos of the school.
• Lead by example and act as a role model for other members of the school community.
• Promote the school's reputation through different marketing media and involvement in recognised associations.
• Be proactive in problem-solving, solution-focused, and understanding to all parties involved.
• Establish and maintain professional working relationships with all staff.
• Uphold a safe, secure, and healthy learning environment by addressing Health & Safety matters.

General Administration

• Prepare notices/posters for student notice boards.
• Undertake general administrative tasks, including photocopying, general typing, and preparing outgoing school mail.
• Assist with the preparation of exeat weekend, half-term, and end-of-term mailings.
• Help with the distribution of mail and produce signage and daily enrichment lists.
• Maintain the staff photo board and upload weekly team sheets to the parent portal.

Reception Duties

• Take a handover from the full-time Receptionist daily to ensure any issues of the day are fully understood.
• Work in the Reception Office, acting as the first point of contact for all enquiries (phone, visitors, deliveries, general emails, etc.).
• Answer the telephone, deal with enquiries, redirect callers as appropriate, and take messages when staff are unavailable.
• Ensure messages regarding pupil collections are relayed to the duty teacher appropriately.
• Ensure all visitors are booked in and out according to school procedures.
• Oversee the sign-out process for pupils and children collected from late stay.
• Act as a focal point for queries relating to the evening bus service.

Music Administration

• Prepare instrumental timetables (200+ music lessons) weekly and maintain notice boards in the music department.
• Prepare documents and certificates for music competitions and awards.
• Liaise with parents about music events and music department parents' evenings.
• Liaise with the Director of Music regarding music information and with music staff and parents to arrange taster lessons.
• Assist parents with queries about music lessons and instrument hire.

Senior Leadership Team Admin

• Produce analysis reports from iSAMS, such as effort grades and report matrices.
• Upload tracking data from assessments to iSAMS.

Staff Professional Development

• Take opportunities for continuous professional development through self-directed reading, courses, and in-service training.
• Maintain good IT skills and support staff (Admin) performance reviews, completing required documentation, and supporting individual targets agreed in performance management meetings.
