Are you a Maintenance Engineer who is electrically biased looking for a new role within the Heavy Manufacturing Industry? A leading manufacturing business based in the area of Nottingham, are looking to grow their team. This role will be based within the company's factory. Offering a salary of £44k dependant on experience and to work 3 shift System (6 - 2, 2 - 10, 10 - 6)

As a Maintenance Engineer, the role will involve but will not be limited to:

  • Working closely with the Engineering Manager and Maintenance Manager to ensure safe, timely and effective completion of on-site reactive and PPM duties, liaising with the relevant departments to minimise downtime
  • Working a 3-shift pattern working both reactive breakdowns and PPM activities to keep the site running as efficiently as possible.
  • Experience with schematics drawings, fault finding in panels, control systems, PLC controls, 3 phase and single phase etc
  • Maintaining extrauders, saws, mixers, pumps, conveyors systems, screwers, gear boxs, hydraulics, pneumatics and motors.
  • Carries out overhauls and repairs of plant and machinery including PLCs
  • Supporting maintenance shutdowns
  • Acting as a role model and lead by example demonstrating Core company values, behaviours, and high-performance standards at all times

Suitable Candidate:

  • Apprentice trained Maintenance Engineer with a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • Previously worked within manufacturing environment before is highly desirable
  • Electrically biased
  • 18th Edition is highly desirable
