Job Title: Teaching Assistant (Early Years)

Location: Tranmere, Wirral
Contract Type: Full-time & Part-time, Long-term until July

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking two enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support Early Years in a vibrant mainstream primary school located in Tranmere, Wirral. Both roles are long-term, with the opportunity to make a real difference in children's early development.

Available Positions:

• Full-time: 8.30am - 3.30pm, Monday to Friday
• Part-time: 8.30am - 3.30pm, three days per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
• Assist with the social, emotional, and educational development of young learners.
• Create a nurturing and positive learning environment.
• Support small groups and individual children with their learning activities.
• Collaborate with staff to provide a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom.

Requirements:

• Must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare or Teaching Assistant qualification, or an equivalent qualification.
• Prior experience working in a school or Early Years setting is essential.
• A passion for early childhood education and a patient, supportive attitude.
• Ability to commit to a long-term role until July.
