Maintenance Technician role in Bury St Edmunds at £40,000 - £45,000 at 42 hours a week

Shift patterns 06:00 - 18:00 3 days 18:00 - 06:00 2 days 4 days off
06:00 - 18:00 2 days 18:00 - 06:00 2 days 3 days off
in rotation

- Awareness of HACCP, food hygiene and safety requirements are required.
- Fluent English
- Computer skills required.
- Experience in working in repair and maintenance of machinery in a food or drink manufacturing environment 5+ Years
- Level 3 NVQ in engineering and 18th Edition preferable but not essential
- Excellent trouble shooting and problem solving skills.
- Experience with working in a team.

As Maintenance Technician you will maintain and repair all production equipment in order to ensure that all equipment is operating effectively and safety to minimize equipment downtime.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Perform corrective and preventive mechanical maintenance
· Perform repairs of production and processing equipment as well as utility related equipment
· Support the installation of new equipment
· Ensure all repairs are documented
· Responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly, and neat work area
· Complete all paperwork neatly and correctly
· Participate in BOPEX (continuous improvement) program
· Comply with all procedures, regulation and policies applicable.
· Stop and report unsafe operations and use mandatory PPE as defined.
· Offer flexibility in working hours subject to business needs
