My Telford based client is currently recruiting for a Paint Technician on a permanent basis.

You will be supporting the Team Leader with the day to day running of the paint plant.  To ensure that production targets are met and a strong control of process within the department.  

Salary – dependent on experience

Full time 3.7.5 hrs per week

Responsibilities:-

• Ensure that production team have daily work available
• Actively promote H&S objectives
• Assist team leader in day to day running of department
• Undertake team leader role in absence of team leader
• Ensure quality checks are carried out by team members
• Identify and assist team leader with training requirements
• Assist team leader with 5S/H&S Audits
• Assist team leader with feedback of team members performance
• Ensure that real time booking on system happens
• Ensure color changes are done as efficient as possible

Skills and experience:- 

Essential:

• Experience of working within a team is essential
• Experience with painted parts
• Good attention to detail to highlight any issues or defects
• A Good understanding of the SAP system

Desirable:

• Experience of working with rolling mills & paint lines
• Power Press and Slinging/Crane Certificates desired.
