Position Title: Finance Analyst

Duration: Permanent

Location: Hybrid – 3 days a week on site in Solihull

The Role

• This is an exciting role for someone with a passion for financial and is looking for their next challenge with a growing iconic brand.
• This role will support all aspects of the business case model, covering investment, BoM, Engineering, selling prices, sales volumes in a number of international markets, manufacturing and distributor costs, to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Gathering data for investment spending, Engineering hours and third party spent, tooling and capital
• Identifying the financial status of businesses cases by comparing achieved results with financial plans and goals
• Producing reports for monthly analysis, actuals v budget/forecasts on projects
• Analysing financial results and identifying trends to help improve the financial status of a project
• Preparing reports on financial revenue and expenditures and communicating the insights of the reports to business management
• Support Commercial in cost allocation within dealer / distributor model.
• Monthly reporting – presenting to the project team
• Reconciliations to intangible assets being created.

Personal Specification

• Accounting qualification (AAT essential, ACA. CIMA, ACCA Desirable)
• Excel – (advanced user within finance and project work)
• Knowledge of R&D Engineering and understanding of the deliverable’s gateways required to hit completion of projects
• Experience in project costing
• Strong relationship-building and communication
• Strong cross-department liaison
• Good working knowledge of SAP
• Ideally Automotive industry experience
