Our client is a dynamic and down-to-earth consultancy in the construction industry, currently looking to recruit an Office Manager. This role offers the opportunity to take on a variety of finance tasks and administrative tasks in a fun, energetic, and vibrant workspace. With a close-knit team of around 15, the company fosters a positive and lively office culture where flexibility around working hours is encouraged, while the team enjoys working in the office together.

The Role
As the Office Manager, you will serve as the backbone of the office, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of operations. Your key responsibilities will include:
Managing billing, invoicing and debtors    
Manage budgets, financial records and expenses using Ms Excel
Process VAT returns
Handling HR duties such as employee inductions, pensions, contracts, holidays, and sick leave
Input into company policies        
Monthly payroll, including processing employee expenses
Bank transactions    
Managing any IT issues
Overseeing office management tasks such as ordering supplies (stationery, kitchen items, etc.) and arranging catering when needed
Assisting with office policies and procedures, including memberships, insurances, and accreditations
Utilising Microsoft Office, Sage Line 50, and Excel for office operations

Experience Required
We are seeking a candidate who can demonstrate previous experience in both accounts and office administration. A proactive attitude, great communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively will be key to success in this role.
