Are you looking to work as a Behaviour Mentor in a leading SEN Secondary School?

We are looking for a nurturing and passionate Behaviour Support Mentor to join one our leading SEN schools in South East London. You will be delivering the best support to students aged 11-15. We would require you to have strong Autism experience as most of the students have mild SEN and are high functioning. The key aspect of this role is cohering to the behaviour de-escalation methods and promoting positive reinforcement strategies.

Behaviour Mentor | Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with classroom teachers and special education professionals to support students with challenging Behaviour ranging from ASD and ADHD
  • Working in the inclusion unit within a Mainstream School
  • Implement behaviour intervention plans and strategies to address individual student needs.
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and administrators to develop and implement effective solutions.

  • Proven experience in a behaviour mentor, counselling, or similar role within an educational setting.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a diverse workload.
