Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Contract type: Fixed term contract for up to 6 months, could lead to a permanent position.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
Location: Hybrid working, 4 days remote working, 1 day per week working at our Head office in Cannock
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 depending on skills and experience

We are looking for an experienced Accounts assistant to join our finance team!

What you'll get to do:
Accounts Receivable Duties:
- Ledger ownership and maintenance
- Proactive credit control via email and telephone
- Daily Cash allocation
- Resolving queries
- Issuing Credit notes and Invoices
- Updating Group cash flow spreadsheet
Accounts Payable Duties:
- Processing supplier invoices (approx. 500 per month)
- Dealing with and resolving account queries
- Processing weekly payment runs
- Supplier account reconciliations
- Ledger ownership and maintenance
What we're looking for from you:
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including v-look up and pivot table standard
- Minimum 12 months experience as an accounts assistant
- Knowledge of SAGE Intacct preferred
