Junior Service engineer

£30,000 - £40,000 + Circa £10,000 bonus + 5% pension + life insurance + private health care +  smartphone .

My client is a market leading machine tool manufacturer renowned for their state of the art Japanese engineering technology, sliding head lathes, cnc machinery and turnkey solutions.

Predominantly they service industries within the medical, electric vehicle and aerospace industries providing sliding head lathe solutions for the manufacture of complex components.

 They are seeking multi-skilled junior engineers from a CNC maintenance apprenticeship to join their dynamic and growing team. They are committed to the continual development of their staff and provide excellent training and internal opportunities for progression to keep you motivated. 

The Role:

• You will provide an exceptional level of customer service to a range of blue-chip clients and SME’s.
• You will provide breakdown cover and work on installation projects.
• You will complete booked servicing on their impressive range of sliding head lathe cnc machinery.
• You will find faults on the Fanuc control systems.
• You will receive training on the installations and commissioning on the sliding head lathe.

Requirements:

• Experience in Fanuc controls is highly desirable
• Experience on FM bar feeders.
• Experience as a junior Service/ Servicing engineer within a machine tool environment or similar desired but not essential.
• The successful candidate must be multi-skilled and able to operate on an electrical and mechanical level to a high standard.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance at a junior level.
• Time 
• Served Apprenticeships, degree or equivalent engineering qualification
