We are excited to be recruiting for a Commercial Finance Business Partner to work with an award-winning global business on the outskirts of Chester.

The Role 

As the Commercial Finance Business Partner, you will work alongside the buying and trading divisions creating and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.  Your role will be to support theses teams with clear and insightful financial information, to help drive category sales and margin growth, and to aid commercial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Attending weekly meetings to present sales and margin performance to senior management to aid commercial decision-making.
• Work with non-finance stakeholders to provide comprehensive commercial forecasts
• Provide up-to-date and accurate reports on daily margin performance vs budget, with stock and weekly reporting analysis.
• Budget and half-yearly forecasting support
• Provide a link between the finance teams and other stakeholders on risk and supplier funding 
• Proactive price reviews to measure competitiveness in the market
• Help improve sales growth 
• Provide reports for non-financial audiences 
• Support and challenge to drive greater efficiency and improve profitability

Qualifications & Experience 

• CIMA, ACCA, ACA qualified or Qualified by experience with very relevant background.
• Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills 
• Excellent commercial acumen
• Ability to question and challenge 
• Experience within a Retail or FMCG environment is desirable 
• Advanced Excel skills are essential 
• Strong reporting and analytical skills
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment with ever-changing priorities

Onsite Role  

£45,000 - £60,000 DOE
