IT Assistant

Job Location:              Christchurch, Dorset

Job Type:                    Permanent

Salary:                         Depending on experience

Hours:                         38.75 hours per week, Monday – Friday 8.15am – 5.00pm

We are currently recruiting for an IT Assistant for a Manufacturer based in Christchurch. Within this role you will be working within a small team of 2 to support over 120 employees.

Key duties will include;

  • Providing 1st and 2nd line support to the business
  • Working through raised tickets to resolve in a timely manner
  • Updating & undertaking backups of existing software
  • Perform routine administration for new employees and leavers.
  • Troubleshooting relevant equipment, such as PC/laptop/tablets, printers etc
  • Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues
  • Installing and configuring IT equipment

The successful applicant should possess:

  • Proven working experience providing IT Support
  • Experienced in providing 1st & 2nd Line support
  • Experience of:
    • Microsoft 365 Admin Console and/or Azure
    • Microsoft server and desktop operating systems, including Exchange
