Stafflex Education is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Primary School Cover Supervisors to join our team in Huddersfield. This role involves supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, confident in managing classroom behaviour, and capable of delivering pre-set lesson plans across various subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support students in completing work set by absent teachers
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning atmosphere
• Assist with administrative tasks and uphold school policies and procedure
• Provide feedback on students' progress and behaviour to appropriate staff

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally in a school setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage groups of students and handle challenging situations calmly
• An enhanced DBS check registered with the DBS Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
