Lodestone Recruitment are currently working in partnership with our client in the Sheffield who have a requirement for a Production Manager.

Our client works across various sectors and have some exciting projects that they are working on as they continue their next phase of growth.

They require a capable and ambitious Production Manager with a background and knowledge of fabrication and welding.

Candidates should have the following experience to be considered for the role:

Must be apprentice trained or time served as Welder or Plater and have a good grounding in Fabrication.

Ideally previously worked in sectors such as Structural, Oil and Gas, Defence, Aerospace or similar.

Must have good organisation skills in Production planning for jobs and the ability to motivate a team in carrying out duties.

Assisting with technical aspects of jobs in all disciplines when required to do so.

Experience in ensuring working procedures are followed at all times and that each job has the correct material, tooling, technical information, paperwork and that all previous operations have been signed off.   

Lead continuous improvement activities and support initiatives to improve efficiencies

Be involved in conducting briefings, tool box talks, minor accident investigation and inspection related to H&S.

Encourage the team to be the best they can and promote their personal development including carrying out personal development reviews and training.

Be quality driven individual.

The offer for the role of Production Manager:

Salary: £50k

Location: Sheffield

Shifts: Regular days

Hours: 37.5-hour working week, but there will provisions to ensure that the work is completed

Pension: Attractive company pension
