Antony James Recruitment Ltd are delighted to be working with a leading Banking and Financial Service client in recruiting a Regulatory Reporting Assistant. Reporting into the Regulatory Reporting Manager you will be supporting in the preparation of the PRA/FCA/Group's regulatory reports as well as data analytics and financial reporting. This is a fully office based position based at the clients Harrow hub.
Main Duties
- Ensure regulatory reporting data quality, from capture to regulator reporting.
- Assess the internal control environment via walkthroughs and testing.
- Analyze issues' impact on capital and escalate as needed.
- Provide recommendations and collaborate with units to address risks.
- Prepare Pillar 3 for Board approval.
- Lead FSCS reporting and testing.
- Review and validate regulatory reports.
- Monitor control framework for accurate reporting.
- Assist with data requests for ICAAP, ILAAP, and RRP.
Skills/Experience
- 1-5 years banking experience.
- Deep knowledge of banking regulations and financial reporting.
- Manage, analyze large datasets, identify trends, and create reports for risk management and compliance.
- Utilize statistical techniques, SQL, Python, and PowerBI for data interpretation and stakeholder presentations.
- Stay current with data analysis and risk management industry trends and developments.
- Proficiency in financial accounting and risk management.
- Preferably, a degree in Finance, Science, or Business Administration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated leadership ability.
- Positive attitude, strong interpersonal, and communication skills.
