Our client in Aylesbury is seeking a Technician to work in the Heat Shielding / Thermal Insulation Department, to join them on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an industry leading engineering firm in the Motorsport, Automotive and Aerospace sector, our client is seeking an individual with an interest in developing skills in production and engineering.

The ideal candidate will have a some previous, practical hands on experience and ideally, will have worked from work instructions and / or diagrams before.

Full training will be provided and the role includes:

• preparing materials for the team, including cutting by hand or with a machine
• forming materials using appropriate workshop machinery such as fly press, rollers, hydraulic press, air tools and hand tools, spot welders.
• Working with thin gauge metallic sheets you will be working to tight tolerances, encapsulating products and carrying out spot welding work.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Deadline conscious
• Reliable and able to demonstrate a stable work history

Hours of work are 7:00am - 4:00pm Monday – Friday

With OT available in addition.

Starting salary is £25,000 per annum, on successful completion of probation (6 months) salary should rise to £29,000 per annum. 

In addition to this, the company off  25 days annual leave plus statutory bank holidays. Opportunities to earn paid overtime. Pension scheme.
